Schedule and Registration

The 2025 summer session of Driver Education will take place from July 7-18, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 11:30am. It will be hosted at Centennial Collegiate and Tommy Douglas Collegiate.

About

Summer Driver Education includes ten mornings of in-person theory instruction.

To qualify for the SGI road test, students must:

• Attend all 30 hours of instruction
• Complete six hours of in-car instruction*
• Obtain a passing mark on exams administered in class. 

*In-car instruction will be scheduled by an instructor when the student returns to school in the fall.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must:

• Be enrolled in a Saskatoon Public School.
• Be 15 years of age by the start date of the program.
• Have a MySGI account and customer number from any SGI agency before applying.
• Have the ability to practice at home with an experienced driver during the program.
