Nutrition Resources for Families
Students require healthy foods to reach their potential. Saskatoon Public Schools' educational nutritional practices follow the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education's nutrition standards found here: Nourishing Minds: Eat Well - Learn Well - Live Well. When foods are offered in schools, they need to meet food safety and nutrition standards as described in the Ministry of Education's Food Safety for My School.
Following is a list of some great resources for families. If you need some support in planning lunches or other healthy meals for your family, please contact your school counsellor who can provide additional resources and guidance.
